In the ever-changing world of insurance, it’s not every day you come across someone like Jared Strong.We’re thrilled to celebrate his 5th year with Inszone Insurance—a journey marked by growth, resilience, and tangible contributions to our company’s success.
Jared’s story began when he was offered an internship in life insurance and financial planning, but he turned it down and was inspired to look for a position in the industry with more opportunity for making a larger impact. In July 2018, Jared joined Inszone, and kicked off his journey delving into the intricacies of contractor’s insurance. He leaped at the chance to field warm lead transfers generated by our tele-sales team. This gave him all the action he needed to build expertise and find success quickly. From this, he steadily expanded his expertise, taking on the service of California Pool Association and Cover Cannabis clients, and eventually venturing into the realm of property insurance. This hands-on progression allowed Jared to not only learn the ropes but to thrive in his role, exemplified by his impressive feat of generating $240K in premium by October 2018.
Crucial to Jared’s success were the foundations laid by VP – Los Angeles/Central California, Norma Villafranca, and Chief Revenue Officer, Pat Grignon, who provided invaluable training as he started with Inszone. Jared’s remarkable journey at Inszone was significantly shaped by his proactive approach to team building. Beyond excelling in his role, he played a pivotal role in recruiting numerous producers and account managers onto the team, even before it became part of his official responsibilities. This foresight not only demonstrated Jared’s leadership potential but also created a need for a management role, making his transition into a leadership position seamless. Moving into Commercial Sales Management in 2019, under their guidance, Jared expanded into diverse areas of insurance. By 2020, he took the initiative to seek feedback from management, leading to his promotion and the opportunity to manage a team of 5 or 6 individuals.
On September 21, 2021, Jared stepped into the position of Staff Development Manager, strategically diversifying his skills to address the evolving needs of Inszone. With Max Cusator on his team and support from Leo Simental during the inception of Inszone U in Fresno, his collaborative efforts led to the successful launch of Inszone U in April 2022. Jared continued to prioritize development and implementation, overseeing initiatives such as the Epic Helpdesk and integration training.
The pinnacle came in October 2022 when Jared became VP – Staff Development, a testament to his success in building Inszone U and the trust the company placed in his leadership. The expansion to additional locations and the addition of trainers in 2023 highlighted the profound impact he had on the company’s growth.
Personally witnessing Inszone’s growth, from a small agency to a multifaceted organization, has been a source of joy for Jared. In his own words, “This blend of a small agency feel with the support of a larger firm has resulted in a unique and inspirational work environment.”
Jared’s advice for newcomers echoes his own journey—be ready for opportunities, invest in continuous growth, and success will follow. His story exemplifies the meritocracy within Inszone, where dedication and hard work carve paths for remarkable achievements.
